At just under £150, these certainly weren’t the cheapest ski trousers I tried on, but once I’d tried these, none of the others would do! A streamlined, stretch fit, decent leg length (I’m 5ft 7”) and a sensible waist with adjustable tabs ensured absolute comfort right from the start. Deliciously warm at temperatures of -15°C thanks to the Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining, they were also breathable and extremely waterproof when the thermometer rose and the rain started to fall. Deep pockets with zips allow for storage of essential bits and pieces, whilst internal leg gaiters fit inside ski boots and keep out the cold and snow whatever the weather. I’d had Columbia trousers before, but these were a marked improvement in terms of fit, warmth and wearability. I opted for stylish black, but they also come in winter white, deep teal and cherry.
